ABOUT PAUL BONACCORSI

BACKGROUND
Since starting his racing career in 1993, Paul Bonaccorsi has earned multiple road-racing divisional driving championships as well as three Valvoline Runoffs National Championships.  After developing a race car for Mazda, he competed as their factory driver in the competitive SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Touring Car series, earning multiple wins and podium finishes.  Paul has also competed in the NASCAR Busch series, SPEED World Challenge GT series, Grand-Am Cup and SCCA Pro Solo Racing. 

CURRENT
In 2008, to expand his driving abilities, Paul ran a full season in the ASA Speedtruck series, which runs predominantly oval tracks.  Consistent with his road racing history, Paul was in the chase for the overall championship and earned Rookie-of-the-Year in the series. 

MEDIA
In addition to television coverage on the SPEED Channel and the ION network, Paul's success in racing has placed him in feature articles in the LA Times, SportsCar magazine, Canadian Driver, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, The Sun and other major circulation publications.  He has been a featured guest on the nationwide motorsports radio show, Speedfreaks, and been highlighted in full-page advertisements in Autoweek.

Paul lives in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, with his wife Laura and 2 children.
